’Twas the Night Before Brass Peacock 

’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the bar,
Not a guest list was stirring — they know who they are.
The cocktails were chilled, the sax gave a sigh,
While the Peacock preened proudly beneath mistle-sky.

The elves called in sick (again, what a shock),
So the staff mixed Old Fashioneds around the clock.
The turkey was late, but the whiskey was neat —
And someone hung stockings on Patrick’s seat.

So don your best sparkle, your bowtie, your cheer —
The merriest mischief is happening here.
We’ll jingle till nine (then Santa clocks in),
’Cause Christmas Eve’s better with Peacock and gin.
