Grant Teeple

Grant Teeple is a dynamic saxophonist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist whose performances blend modern energy with classic jazz soul. A graduate of both Michigan State University and Florida State University, Grant has studied under some of today’s most respected jazz educators and performed internationally, including a tour in Japan with MSU’s flagship ensemble.

Before moving to Austin in 2023, Grant was one of Tallahassee’s top-call jazz and funk saxophonists, leading horn sections for several major acts while maintaining an active teaching studio. Now a faculty member at Huston-Tillotson University, Grant has quickly become a regular in Austin’s thriving jazz scene, performing alongside acclaimed artists such as Andre Hayward, Michael Hale, and Brian Pardo.
