Austin-based guitarist Matt Montoya brings a refined blend of jazz and classical influences to the Brass Peacock Early Show. A Texas State University Music Performance graduate, Matt studied classical and jazz guitar with acclaimed guitarist and composer Mark Anthony Cruz.
A versatile musician and educator, Matt performs with Swing 512 and leads the Matt Montoya Quintet. Settle in early for an intimate set showcasing his warm guitar work, sophisticated musicianship and love of jazz.
