Jen Zava Band

Jen Zava (Jennifer Zavaleta) is an Austin-based singer-songwriter originally from Georgia, known for her dynamic voice and magnetic stage presence. Over the years, she has performed with some of Texas’ most popular acts, including Rotel and the Hot Tomatoes, Monster Big Band, and The Grooves, bringing her versatility to stages ranging from high-energy party shows to elegant big-band jazz performances.

In 2017, she released her debut solo album Power to Change, an eclectic blend of alt-rock, folk, and country that reflects her personal journey and storytelling spirit. The album features everything from punchy, Sheryl Crow–inspired tracks to intimate ballads and even an a cappella piece written and sung with her daughter.

Beyond her own music, Jen is also an advocate for women in the arts. She hosts a radio program spotlighting female musicians in Texas, further cementing her role as both a performer and community builder in the Austin scene.
