Strings and Sax Duo

Strings & Sax Duo brings together the warmth of guitar and the expressive voice of tenor saxophone for an intimate take on the jazz tradition. Featuring Austin-raised saxophonist Agastya Khosa, the duo explores classic standards, bebop, ballads, blues, and Brazilian-inspired jazz with tasteful arrangements and spontaneous interplay.

Khosa developed his sound in Central Texas before continuing his jazz studies at The New School in New York City. Known for his warm tone and adventurous improvisation, he brings the creative energy of New York’s jazz scene back to his Austin roots.
