Trevor Gonzalez is a saxophonist based in San Marcos, Texas, currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Jazz Performance at Texas State University under the mentorship of Professor Joel Frahm. He previously earned his Bachelor’s degree from the same institution.
Musically versatile and stylistically fluid, Trevor draws inspiration from a wide range of traditions. He performs regularly across Central Texas, appearing with 2nd line ensembles, blues bands, and leading his own jazz combos. His performances have graced stages at Love Supreme Pizza Bar, Monks Jazz Club, and other respected venues in the greater Austin area.
For Trevor, music is never just background — it’s a vehicle for intensity, emotion, and connection. Whether on stage or in the studio, he brings a dynamic presence to every performance.
He is currently performing in a trio format, joined by bassist Mercedes Solis and drummer Mati Soto
