DESCRIPTION:A native of Southeast Texas\, Troy Kaufman (b. 1998) is already an accomplished saxophonist\, arranger\, and music educator. \n  \nHis positive experiences with music from a young age led him to study Music Education at Lamar University\, and later earn a  Master of Music degree in Jazz Performance from Texas State University.  \n  \nTroy has enjoyed performing as a freelance saxophonist in the Greater Austin and Golden-Triangle areas as a member of various big bands\, jazz combos\, salsa groups\, and pop/rock/contemporary ensembles.
