Formed in 2018 in San Marcos\, Texas\, The Fellowship began as a collective project led by visionary musicians and grounded in the spirit of collaboration. The band’s original lineup featured Gerardo Espinoza on tenor saxophone\, Christopher Villanueva on piano\, Andrew Harkey on bass\, and Joshua Alderete on drums\, whose dynamic and expressive playing anchors the group’s sound. \nIn 2020\, The Fellowship relocated to San Antonio\, expanding its presence and influence within the regional jazz scene.
