SUMMARY:Dave Lee Quartet
DESCRIPTION:Dave Lee (Trumpet) has been an active part of the Austin music scene since moving from the Pacific Northwest in 2001. A versatile freelance musician\, Dave performs regularly with NAJO\, Mainstream Jazz (his own big band and combo)\, the Ken Ragsdale Orchestra\, and various jazz and pop ensembles across Austin\, Houston\, and surrounding areas. \nIn addition to performing\, Dave teaches private trumpet lessons in the Pflugerville and Round Rock school districts and brings over 40 years of experience in music ministry. He currently offers “Jazz Worship” services for churches throughout Texas\, blending his passion for faith and jazz in a unique musical experience. \nDave is no stranger to the stage—or below it—having played in the pit for more than 60 musical theater productions at the Georgetown Palace Theater and Austin’s Zach Theater.
