Julie Slim is a Lebanese-Palestinian-American multilingual jazz and world vocalist based in Austin, Texas. As the founder of Julie Slim & RendezVous, she blends jazz, French chanson, Middle Eastern influences, and global sounds into a warm, expressive performance that celebrates culture, language, and connection.

Since forming RendezVous in 2013, Julie has brought audiences on a musical journey shaped by her life in Beirut, her love of language, and her background in theatre and improvisation. The band has released multiple recordings, including the French standards album Promenade Sentimentale and Julie’s 2025 multilingual original album Suspended. Their original song “Sarabande de Solitude” earned an Honorary Merit Award in the 2017 USA Songwriting Competition and led to a featured performance at the SXSW Music Festival Songwriters Showcase.

With soothing vocals and a deeply personal approach to storytelling, Julie Slim & RendezVous creates an elegant, transporting show filled with heart, artistry, and songs from around the world.
